Drinking Giraffe Ring
This is a ring to interact with your representative animal, in this case, the magnificent giraffe. The quirky essence of giraffes revealed that their long, otherwise elegant neck is not long enough, and it gives them a hard time reaching down low to have a drink from the pond. Inevitably, they lower themselves by splitting their front legs, resulting in an awkward position. When the ring is worn, it activates, reassuring that the Giraffe stays hydrated.

Refraction Telescope Engagement Ring
The brief of this engagement ring was to look through two parallel lives coming together into a full circle. Thinking about beams of light being refracted through lenses into a point of convergence, we decided to make a simple refraction telescope, down-scaled and fitted into a ring. With a 9mm objective lens and an adjustable 4.5mm focusing eyepiece, this ring holds a miniature x4 magnification telescope.
The final ring has four precision-machined parts and two glass lenses sourced from a leading optics producer.
Hidden magnet arrays encased in titanium make this pair of engagement rings magically nest. The inner ring finds its equilibrium within the outer ring, hovering in its centre.
The box is capped with a magnetic viewing film gently stretched over the pair of rings, highlighting the weaving attraction between the two.
72 N52 neodymium 2x1mm magnets indexed every 15 degrees.
Heat-shrunk ring sleeves permanently trapping the magnets
The design brief for this ring was to unite the couple’s distinct minimalist and modernist sensibility while also celebrating the romantic symbolism of a diamond engagement ring.
Diamond exists in two almost opposite worlds. In jewellery, it is the most precious, the most brilliant, and among the most valuable materials, transforming matter into light itself. In the industrial world, lab-grown diamonds are used to cut and abrade the next toughest materials. In both worlds, the diamonds may appear different, but they both testify to the material’s endurance and strength.
The conception of this ring took its inspiration from the industrial foundation of the Modernist movement. We took on the commonly accessible industrial diamond and re-imagined an engagement ring based on scale, ruled geometry, material properties, and the elegance of mechanical joints.
