SAMPLING EARRINGS

The Sampling Earrings are a stainless steel earpiece designed to grip small objects. The “samples” could be any object used to decorate the ear – a fallen leaf, a dewy flower, a piece of paper, or an inherited jewel; these objects are discreetly held by the earrings and are displayed as unique adornments.

An earpiece that does not make a statement of itself as a piece of jewellery, but rather encourages the collection and sampling of natural and daily objects for self-expression.

The base of the maple earring box is designed to hold and display the earrings securely and functions as a platform to help the wearer open the clipping mechanism. The box closes with a threaded lid, which serves as a case for smaller samples.
